Whenever travelling I like to be on a lookout for places for art lovers – here’s my latest selection of museums and galleries.
Visiting Dongdaemun Design Plaza designed by starchitect Zaha Hadid and Samoo Architects was one of my highlights when in Seoul. This neofuturistic building with its amazing curving was my love at first sight. I wish I had more time actually to appreciate its spatial beauty. Design Museum, which is located at the center of the DDP is a perfect place for anyone who wants to learn more about the latest design trends in the world and in Seoul. Experiencing future through design can certainly happen there! DDP is an absolute must when traveling to Seoul.

It focuses on photography, design and a range of other fields where the everyday becomes art. Highly recommended to all creative junkies! Continue Reading

Hwa Jin and I share similar interests so it was extremely interesting for me to find out more about cultural scene in Seoul from someone, who is close to that creative energy on a regular basis through her playwriting and journalistic work. Continue Reading
